Red Climber

This massive vine is a slow growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 2,304 feet (702.3 meters) and growing as high as 153 feet (46.6 meters).

It takes 41 years for the red stems to mature, by which point they sometimes have a diameter of 2.3 feet (69 cm) and are smooth and rubbery.

The broad, flat, rough leaves reach up to 1.8 feet (56 cm) in length. They are generally faded yellow, and have smooth edges.

During late spring, the vine produces several small white flowers, and during the late autumn, after flowering, it produces a handful of tiny fruits.
