Silver Moss

This silver moss is commonly found blanketing small areas In marshes.
It is small, growing up to 2 inches (5 cm) tall. It forms in sparse patches, and is overwhelmingly robust.
When mature, emerald teardrop-shaped capsules grow at the end of long, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the late summer to release thousands of spores.
