Amberwood

This huge shrub grows up to 10 feet (3.0 meters) tall and lives for around 34 years. It is not very resistant to disease and destructive insect infestation.

It has dozens of sturdy, straight stems covered in smooth, yellow bark, and the wood inside is yellow-brown.

The branches are short, rigid and upright that and are covered with large amounts of large, asymmetrical, leaves with jagged edges. The leaves themselves are white and crimson, resistant and waxy.

It produces thousands of small, amber flowers with 3 teardrop-shaped shaped petals. They fall easily and have an overpowering scent that smells like new books. In mid-autumn it forms smalldrab blue berries.
