Caramel Moss

This caramel moss is commonly found blanketing large areas In damp forests, In rainy mountain ranges, and In moorlands.
It is big, growing up to 6 inches (15 cm) tall. It forms in thin clumps are slow to spread and grow, and is overwhelmingly resistant.
When mature, emerald kidney-shaped capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the mid-summer to release thousands of spores.
