Amber
Flower type: Perennial (Grows along the ground or other low surfaces.)This short flower grows up to 3 inches (8 cm) tall. Its green stems grow in bunches of 4 and are very thick with a curved tip, and the giant, gray leaves are spear shaped with smooth edges. Many leaves grow at the base of the stem, and more leaves grow in pairs along the length of the stem.
Two small flowers sit at the end of the stem. The flowers are 5 cm (2.0 inches) wide, with solid amber petals decorated with green lines and a lilac central disk. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of up to 40 petals. They detach easily.
It has a fairly strong scent that smells like lavender, and it has very little pollen. It is pollinated by a small species of bird.
It usually houses a colony of beneficial insects.
It is suitable for making strong rope
It is possible to grow it from cuttings.
