Burgundy Creeper
Climbing plant type: Creeper (Grows along the ground or other low surfaces.)This modest-sized creeper is a steady-growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 50 feet (15.2 meters) and growing as high as 95 feet (29.0 meters).
It takes 5 years for the burgundy stems to mature, by which point they can reach a diameter of 4 inches (10 cm) and are smooth and rubbery.
The very thick, leathery leaves reach up to 5 inches (13 cm) in length. They are yellow with slate tips, and have wavy edges.
It is suitable for making paper
The colour changes depends on whether the soil is acidic or alkaline.
