Lime Green Succulent

Succulent type: Stem succulent (Stores water in its stem)

This modest-sized cactus grows up to 16 feet (4.9 meters) tall. The stiff, pointed stem is lime green, and is covered in brittle grey spines. The cuboid body is copper and gray, and is dotted with small black spines.

It is steady-growing, taking 20 months to reach maturity. Once mature, several flowers with petals that are caramel on the edges and ashy green at the center grow at the top, reappearing once every 5 years. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of 22 curved petals. It has an overpowering scent that smells like rich perfume.

The cactus's skin is nearly impenetrable, the blood red flesh is waxy, and the vivid blue sap is thin.

It out-competes most other plants for nutrients and light.
