Coralvine

This small bine is a fast growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 7 feet (2.1 meters) and growing as high as 877 feet (267.3 meters).

It takes 2 months for the green stems to mature, by which point they have often fused together into ropes with a diameter of 3 cm (1.2 inches) and are rough and prickly.

The wide, leathery leaves reach up to 5 inches (13 cm) in length. They are pastel green at the bottom and peach with brilliant red edges at the top, and have jagged edges.

During late spring, the bine produces hundreds of tiny red flowers.
