Bronzeberry

Tree type: Deciduous (Stores water in its stem)

This big tree grows up to 88 meters (288.7 feet) tall and lives for decades, with the oldest known specimen being around 96 years old. It is very resistant to disease and destructive insect infestation.

It has a wide, straight trunk covered in thick, silky, brown and grey bark, and inside, the very light wood is pale yellow.

The thin clumps of branches are very short, thin and wispy and are covered with large amounts of rough, giant, stiff, pointed leaves with smooth edges. The leaves themselves are solid bronze with aquamarine edges.

In late summer it forms large, violet berries.

The roots grow as a near perfect mirror of the tree above, and overall the tree is sturdy, flexible, and difficult to uproot or break.

Forests of this species feature well-spaced trees, with patches of undergrowth between them.

The leaves have medicinal properties.
It is possible to grow it from cuttings.
It is suitable for use as a construction material
