Bronze

This modest-sized shrub grows up to 3 feet (91.4 cm) tall and lives for around 12 years. It is somewhat resistant to disease and destructive insect infestation.

It has numerous slender, straight stems covered in very thick, knobbly, pine-coloured bark, and the wood inside is gray.

The branches trail down to the ground with dozens of twigs that and are covered with handfuls of giant, sickle shaped, leaves with smooth edges. The leaves themselves are found in bronze, orange and dull blue varieties, robust and smooth.

In late spring it produces hundreds of tiny, lilac flowers with needle-like petals. They are sturdy and have a weak scent that smells like blood.
