Magenta Puff Grass

Grass type: Perennial (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)

This modest-sized, brown grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The very narrow and elongated stalks grow in large clumps that are flexible.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a medium-sized, magenta puff.

During the mid-autumn, it produces very little pollen, but can cause severe allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with a few giant grains.

It is difficult to kill and will quickly regrow if cut.
