Caramel Daisy
Flower type: Perennial (Stores water in its leaves)This average-sized flower grows up to 1.9 feet (58 cm) tall. Its orange stem is thick, and the small, olive leaves are wispy with irregular edges. Many leaves grow along the entire length of the stem.
Lots of small flowers grow along the length of the stem. The flowers are 3 cm (1.2 inches) wide, with olive petals and a caramel central disk. The flower head is largely flat with 48 tightly layered narrow petals. They fall easily.
It has an overpowering scent that smells like lemon, and it has very little pollen. It is pollinated by the wind and is ignored by most insect species.
It spreads easily and often blanket large areas.
