Yellow-Green Trumpet Vine
Flower type: Perennial (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)This large flower grows up to 5.5 feet (1.7 meters) tall. Its gray-green stem is thin, and the huge, yellow-green leaves are circular with smooth edges. Many leaves grow at the base of the stem, and more leaves grow in pairs along the length of the stem.
Two small flowers sit at the end of the stem. The flowers are 75 cm (29.5 inches) wide, with petals that are amber on the underside and white on the top. The flower head is shaped like a trumpet with 32 tightly layered, narrow petals. They fall easily.
It has a fairly strong scent that smells like rainy days, and it has a modest amount of pollen. It is pollinated by a small species of bird.
It is almost impossible to grow indoors.
