Cyanvine

This average-sized shrub grows up to 3 feet (91.4 cm) tall and lives for around 23 years. It is very resistant to disease but is susceptible to destructive insect infestation.

It has many narrow, straight stems covered in paper-thin, silky, white with black speckled bark, and the wood inside is light brown.

The branches are very short and thin with hundreds of twigs that and are covered with large amounts of miniature, very thin, leaves with smooth edges. The leaves themselves are yellow on the sides and pink at the center, tough and clammy.

In mid-spring it produces copious amounts of tiny, red blossoms with 7 heart-shaped shaped petals. They are hardy and have a fairly strong scent that smells like rich perfume.

In early winter tiny wide fruits ripen. The sticky cyan skin is thin and inedible, and the soft yellow flesh is sweet and juicy. The intense green seeds are small and are scattered throughout the fruit.
