Coppervine

Climbing plant type: Vine (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)

This giant vine is a very slow growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 1,474 feet (449.3 meters) and growing as high as 387 feet (118.0 meters).

It takes 24 years for the cream and copper stems to mature, by which point they each have a diameter of 1.6 feet (48 cm) and are rough and fibrous.

The flame-shaped, crispy leaves reach up to 2.8 feet (84 cm) in length. They are slate with crimson tips, and have toothed edges.

During late spring, the vine produces large amounts of large light brown flowers.

Their seeds have hallucinogenic properties.
It is suitable for making strong rope
