Thornwood

This short shrub grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall and lives for around 98 years. It is very resistant to destructive insect infestation but susceptible to disease.

It has several stocky, slanted stems covered in very thick, rough, light brown bark, and the wood inside is dark brown.

The branches trail down to the ground that and are covered with sparse amounts of tiny, spear shaped, leaves with toothed edges. The leaves themselves are found in bronze, white and black varieties, light and soft.

It produces several small, ashy purple flowers with sickle shaped petals. They are sturdy and have an intensely strong scent that smells like soap. In late spring it forms giantbronze, tough-shelled seeds.
