Bronze

This small caudiciform grows up to 2 feet (61.0 cm) tall. The asymmetrical stem is yellow-green, and is covered in many flexible brown spines. The crooked, olive trunk can grow to as much as 2 feet (61.0 cm) in diameter in the middle. Its intense green and orange-yellow branches are tall, rigid and upright and start growing at the base the stem.

The thick bunches of rounded-edged, finger-like leaves are found in red, silver and aquamarine varieties. They are robust, but take some effort to detach.

It is slow growing, taking 40 years to reach maturity. Once mature, several flowers with solid silver petals and a grey central disk grow at the top, reappearing every year. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of 16 petals. It has a delicate scent that smells like varnish.

The caudiciform's skin is thick, the bronze flesh is rubbery, and the beige sap is thin.
