Blue Tuft Grass

Grass type: Perennial (Grows the first year, flowers the second year, then dies)

This short, yellow grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The slender, pointed stalks grow in sparse patches that are resilient.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a medium-sized, pastel blue tuft.

During the early winter, it produces very little pollen, and after flowering, it is left with plenty of medium-sized grains.
