Amber Moss

This amber moss is commonly found growing in small clumps In heathlands.
It is modest-sized, growing up to 6 inches (15 cm) tall. It forms in small clumps, and is overwhelmingly flimsy.
When mature, emerald spiral capsules grow at the end of elongated, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the mid-summer to release hundred of spores; it can cause allergic reactions.
