Silvervine

This modest-sized shrub grows up to 3 feet (91.4 cm) tall and lives for around 94 years. It is very resistant to destructive insect infestation but susceptible to disease.

It has many flexible, slanted stems covered in paper-thin, ridged, silver and white bark, and the wood inside is gray.

The branches trail down across the ground with thousands of twigs that and are covered with sparse amounts of miniature, needle-like, leaves with smooth edges. The leaves themselves are either florescent red or lime, with pink lines, flexible and fuzzy.

In late summer it produces many medium-sized, caramel flowers with 5 V-shaped shaped petals. They fall easily and have a delicate scent that smells like varnish.
