Indigo

This small bine is a quick growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 18 feet (5.5 meters)0.

It takes 5 months for the orange stems to mature, by which point they sometimes have a diameter of 3 cm (1.2 inches) and are smooth and woody.

The long, narrow, rough leaves reach up to 3 inches (8 cm) in length. They are orange on the sides and indigo at the center, and have jagged edges.

During late spring, the bine produces many average washed-out yellow flowers.
