Blackvine

Climbing plant type: Vine (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)

This large vine is a steady-growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 131 feet (39.9 meters) and growing as high as 62 feet (18.9 meters). It prefers to grow on man-made objects.

It takes 5 years for the peach or gentle red stems to mature, by which point they often have a diameter of 1.4 feet (43 cm) and are hard and brittle.

The needle-like, leathery leaves reach up to 2.6 feet (79 cm) in length. They are generally black, and have wavy edges.

During late spring, the vine produces thousands of average black flowers.

The grains are bitter, but very healthy and extremely sweet.
