Bronze

This small caudiciform grows up to 11 feet (3.4 meters) tall. The thick stem is bronze, and is covered in handfuls of flexible pink spines. The round, lime trunk can grow to as much as 11 feet (3.4 meters) in diameter. Its yellow branches are very short and thin.

The jagged-edged, spear shaped leaves are solid drab orange with light grey lines. They are rigid, and take little effort to detach.

It is steady-growing, taking 8 months to reach maturity. Once mature, and only under the right conditions, several flowers with solid light grey petals decorated with olive dots and a aquamarine central disk grow at the top, reappearing after 10 years, but only when the conditions are right again. The flower head is shaped like a star made up of several tightly layered, round-tipped petals. It has a mildly strong scent that smells like coconut.

The caudiciform's skin is rock-hard, the violet flesh is rubbery, and the hazel sap is thin.
