Crimson Moss

Moss type: Moss

This red and slate moss is commonly found blanketing tiny areas On trees, In moorlands, and In heathlands.
It is average-sized, growing up to 5 inches (13 cm) tall. It forms in thin clumps and they are slow to spread and grow, and is slightly flimsy; it burns easily in strong sunlight.
When mature, emerald cylindrical capsules grow at the end of long, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the early autumn to release hundred of spores.

It is suitable for making strong rope
The leaves are overwhelmingly toxic, and very sweet.
It is possible to grow it from cuttings.
