Cyanvine

This small bine is a fast growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 12 feet (3.7 meters) and growing as high as 147 feet (44.8 meters).

It takes 11 months for the copper stems to mature, by which point they have tangled themselves into thick mats with a diameter of 1 cm (0.4 inches) and are smooth and woody.

The long, tapering, crispy leaves reach up to 4 inches (10 cm) in length. They are solid cyan or red, with white streaks, and have wavy edges.

During late spring, the bine produces large amounts of average orange flowers, and during the early winter, after flowering, it produces lots of large seed pods.
