Silver

Tree type: Coniferous (Grows along the ground or other low surfaces.)

This small tree grows up to 6 meters (19.7 feet) tall and lives for over 3,000 years, with the oldest known specimen being around 3726 years old. It is very resistant to disease and destructive insect infestation.

It has a sturdy, straight trunk covered in very thick, wrinkled, silver bark, and inside, the flexible wood is white with black speckles.

The numerous branches trail down to the ground, with dozens of twigs covered with copious amounts of giant, yellow-green needles. The needles themselves are delicate.

In late summer it produces small, crimson, winged seeds that float and land far away.

The roots are fine and grow in a large web, and overall the tree is sturdy, flexible, and difficult to uproot or break.

Forests of this species feature well-spaced trees, with grassy ground between them.

The colour changes depends on whether the soil is acidic or alkaline.
Offering it in a bouquet is supposed to bring good luck.
It makes a distinctive sound when the wind blows through it.
Their seeds have hallucinogenic properties.
