Climbing plant type: Creeper (Grows along the ground or other low surfaces.)

This short creeper is a quick growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 14 feet (4.3 meters) and growing as high as 851 feet (259.4 meters).

It takes 3 months for the green stems to mature, by which point they have often fused together into ropes with a diameter of 1 cm (0.4 inches) and are rough and fibrous.

The spear shaped, smooth leaves reach up to 4 inches (10 cm) in length. They are aquamarine and sky blue, and have irregular edges.

During late spring, the creeper produces thousands of colossal pink flowers.

It grows well in the sun and full shade.
It spreads easily and often blanket large areas.
It is suitable for creating tough, hard-wearing textiles
