Copper Spire Succulent

This giant caudiciform grows up to 32 feet (9.8 meters) tall. The perforated stem is copper, and is dotted with small light brown spines. The curved, gold trunk can grow to as much as 32 feet (9.8 meters) in diameter at the bottom. Its emerald branches are tall, rigid and upright and start growing at the base the stem.

The very large amounts of tattered-edged, wide leaves are solid violet or amber, with sky blue lines. They are tough, and are very difficult to pull away.

It is steady-growing, taking 5 years to reach maturity. Once mature, a single flower with petals that are indigo on the edges and blood red at the center grows at the top, reappearing every year. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of 34 curved petals. It has a soft scent that smells like garlic.

The caudiciform's skin is nearly impenetrable, the aquamarine flesh is sticky, and the amber sap is thin and causes severe cramps if consumed.
