Copperwood

This enormous tree grows up to 98 meters (321.5 feet) tall and lives for centuries, with the oldest known specimen being around 668 years old. It is very susceptible to disease and insect infestation.

It has a wide, crooked trunk covered in fine, waxy, copper-coloured bark, and inside, the very hard wood is gray.

The small bunches of branches are short and slender and are covered with thick bunches of soft, small, slender, pointed leaves with tattered edges. The leaves themselves are solid violet or amber, with sky blue lines.

In late summer it forms medium-sized, grey, winged seeds that spin and fall nearby.

The roots grow as a near perfect mirror of the tree above, and overall the tree is sturdy and rigid.

Forests of this species feature the trees packed together densely, with grassy ground between them.
