Blueleaf Tree

This average-sized tree grows up to 25 meters (82.0 feet) tall and lives for centuries, with the oldest known specimen being around 664 years old. It is not very resistant to disease and destructive insect infestation.

It has a very thick, straight trunk covered in very thick, smooth, mahogany-coloured bark, and inside, the medium-dense wood is burgundy-brown.

The abundance of branches are short, rigid and upright and are covered with large amounts of waxy, tiny, fan-like leaves with rounded edges. The leaves themselves are solid sky blue or hazel, with white zig-zags.

In late summer it forms medium-sized, washed-out yellow, winged seeds that spin and fall nearby.

The roots grow as a near perfect mirror of the tree above, and overall the tree is sturdy, flexible, and difficult to uproot or break.

Forests of this species feature well-spaced trees, with patches of undergrowth between them.
