Sunburst Moss

This orange-yellow moss is commonly found blanketing giant areas In marshes, and In heathlands.
It is small, growing up to 2 inches (5 cm) tall. It forms in thin clumps and they overwhelm an area rapidly, and is overwhelmingly rigid; it struggles more than most during dry spells.
When mature, emerald oblong capsules grow at the end of long, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the early winter to release millions of spores; it does not cause many allergic reactions.
