Olivegrass

Grass type: Biennial (Stores water in its leaves)

This large, olive and emerald grass grows up to 4 feet (1.2 meters) tall. The very thick stalks grow in small clumps that are rigid.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a medium-sized, yellow spikelet.

During the mid-autumn, it produces lots of pollen, and after flowering, it is left with lots of medium-sized grains.

Several parts of the flower have medicinal properties.
It is suitable for creating tough, hard-wearing textiles
It coexists peacefully with other plants.
