Midnight Vine

Climbing plant type: Vine (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)

This small vine is a quick growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 15 feet (4.6 meters) and growing as high as 93 feet (28.3 meters).

It takes 5 months for the moss green stems to mature, by which point they can reach a diameter of 1 cm (0.4 inches) and are hard and brittle.

The stiff, pointed, leathery leaves reach up to 5 inches (13 cm) in length. They are generally black, and have jagged edges.

During late spring, the vine produces many small peach flowers, and during the late summer, after flowering, it produces excessive amounts of very large seed pods.

Their seeds have hallucinogenic properties.
It out-competes most other plants for nutrients and light.
It is suitable for making strong rope
