Crimsonfern

This red moss is commonly found blanketing small areas In marshes, In rainy mountain ranges, and In heathlands.
It is huge, growing up to 1.3 feet (41 cm) tall. It forms in large clumps, and is overwhelmingly frail; it takes a lot of damage when trodden on.
When mature, emerald V-shaped capsules grow at the end of elongated, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the mid-summer to release millions of spores.
