Copper

This modest-sized flower grows up to 1.4 feet (43 cm) tall. Its copper stem is thick and splits into dozens of branching stems at the base, and the giant, yellow-green leaves are very narrow and elongated with ripped edges. The leaves alternate on the stem.

4 to 10 large flowers grow on alternate sides up the length of the stem. The flowers are 3 cm (1.2 inches) wide, with petals that are either sky blue or grey, with a yellow center. The flower head is made up of 36 petals; the lower layer of petals are flat, while the upper layers form a tight trumpet. They detach easily.

It has a delicate scent that smells like garlic, and it has very little pollen. It is a self-pollinator.
