Blueleaf Tree

This small tree grows up to 5 meters (16.4 feet) tall and lives for decades, with the oldest known specimen being around 51 years old. It is very resistant to disease but is susceptible to destructive insect infestation.

It has a sturdy, straight trunk covered in delicate, waxy, dark gray bark, and inside, the medium-dense wood is yellow-brown.

The branches trail down to the ground and are covered with small bunches of crispy, miniature, sickle shaped leaves with smooth edges. The leaves themselves are yellow-green with blue tips.

In late summer it forms tiny, brown, winged seeds that spin and fall nearby.

The roots are shallow and widely spread, and overall the tree is rigid and weak, and breaks apart easily.

Forests of this species feature well-spaced trees, with clear space between them.
