Amberleaf

This large tree grows up to 66 meters (216.5 feet) tall and lives for centuries, with the oldest known specimen being around 392 years old. It is very resistant to disease but is susceptible to destructive insect infestation.

It has a long and flexible, curved trunk covered in wrinkled, yellow-brown bark, and inside, the dense wood is silver.

The branches trail down to the ground and are covered with small bunches of covered in fine hairs, huge, very thin leaves with wavy edges. The leaves themselves are amber and yellow.

In late summer it forms medium-sized, beige, spiky-shelled seeds.

The roots form a tightly packed ball, and overall the tree is rigid and brittle.

Forests of this species feature well-spaced trees, with the space between filled with undergrowth.
