Bluebell

Flower type: Perennial (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)

This small flower grows up to 5 inches (13 cm) tall. Its yellow-green stem is wispy, and the large, brown leaves are light lime green on the underside and are 5 pointed with jagged edges. Many leaves grow along the entire length of the stem.

Lots of small flowers grow in a bunch at the end of the stem. The flowers are 1 cm (0.4 inches) wide, with blue petals and a yellow center. The flower head is largely flat with handfuls of widely spaced narrow petals. They are hardy.

It has a delicate scent that smells like varnish, and it has a modest amount of pollen. It is pollinated by the wind.
