Silverbrush

This average-sized shrub grows up to 3 feet (91.4 cm) tall and lives for around 15 years. It is susceptible to disease and destructive insect infestation.

It has dozens of knobbly, straight stems covered in knobbly, silver bark, and the wood inside is pale brown.

The branches are very long and thin that and are covered with small amounts of tiny, long, tapering, leaves with jagged edges. The leaves themselves are washed-out blue and black, strong and soft.

It produces a handful of large, copper flowers with 5 cylindrical shaped petals. They are sturdy and have a scent that varies in strength that smells like cherry. In mid-summer it forms smallolive seed pods.
