Creamvine

Flower type: Biennial (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)

This modest-sized flower grows up to 1.3 feet (41 cm) tall. Its red stem is thin and straight, and the tiny, yellow and cream leaves are pleated with irregular edges. The leaves grow from the base and are the same length as the stem.

Two medium-sized flowers sit at the end of each stem. The flowers are 6 cm (2.4 inches) wide, with each petal a slightly different shade of beige. The flower head is made up of 49 petals; the lower layer of petals are flat, while the upper layers form a tight cup. They are sturdy.

It has a weak scent that smells like onion, and it has copious amounts of pollen. It is a self-pollinator, but is also visited by a small species of bird.

It absorbs an exceptionally large amount of water each day.
