Yellowfruit Tree

This small fruit tree grows up to 9 feet (2.7 meters) tall and lives for up to 10 years, with the oldest known specimen being around 28 years old. It is somewhat resistant to disease and destructive insect infestation.

It has a wide, wavy trunk covered in very thick, wrinkled, black bark, and inside, the hard wood is pine-coloured.

The branches trail down towards the ground and are covered with thick bunches of large, circular leaves with wavy edges. The leaves themselves are either bold yellow or dark brown, with pastel red dots.

In early spring, it produces copious amounts of tiny, lilac blossoms with perforated petals. They are hardy and have a delicate scent that smells like a man.

In early winter it produces , slender, 7 pointed fruit. The fuzzy brown skin is delicate and sour, and the crunchy peach flesh is spicy and powdery. The florescent yellow seeds are small and are dotted around on the skin of the fruit.

The roots are fine and grow in a large web, and overall the tree is rigid and weak, and breaks apart easily.

Forests of this species feature well-spaced trees, with patches of undergrowth between them.
