Cinnamon

This average-sized caudiciform grows up to 72 feet (21.9 meters) tall. The tapering stem is green, and is covered in hundreds of flexible dark brown spines. It has a curved, wide, vibrant red trunk atop a slender stilted platform of silky, exposed roots. The branches are thick and green and are short stubs.

The smooth-edged, broad, flat leaves are amber on the edges and pastel red at the center. They are light, and easily come away when pulled.

It is steady-growing, taking 4 years to reach maturity. Once mature, a single flower with petals that are blue on the edges and pastel red at the center grows at the top, reappearing once every 10 years. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of up to 60 curved petals. It has a delicate scent that smells like cinnamon.

The caudiciform's skin is thick, the aquamarine flesh is sticky, and the purple sap is thin.
