Burgundy Grass

This average-sized, burgundy grass grows up to 2 feet (61.0 cm) tall. The finger-like stalks grow in extensive patches that are delicate and they are slow to spread and grow.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a small, copper puff.

During the late summer, it produces excessive amounts of pollen; it can can cause allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with lots of medium-sized grains.
