Burgundy Creeper

Climbing plant type: Creeper (Grows along the ground or other low surfaces.)

This short creeper is a quick growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 7 feet (2.1 meters) and growing as high as 816 feet (248.7 meters).

It takes 4 months for the silver stems to mature, by which point they have often fused together into ropes with a diameter of 1 cm (0.4 inches) and are rough and gnarled.

The needle-like, waxy leaves reach up to 3 inches (8 cm) in length. They are a shade of burgundy that gradient shifts to deep orange at the top, and have irregular edges.

During late spring, the creeper produces hundreds of small blue flowers, and during the late summer, after flowering, it produces copious amounts of large fruits.

It can grow in even the most barren lands.
