Twinegrass

Grass type: Biennial (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)

This modest-sized, orange-yellow grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The wispy stalks grow in small clumps that are strong.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a small, peach spikelet.

During the early autumn, it produces lots of pollen, and after flowering, it is left with a few small grains.

It is suitable for creating tough, hard-wearing textiles
It has impressive regenerative properties.
It spreads easily and often blanket large areas.
