Golden Moss

This orange-yellow moss is commonly found growing in large clumps In moorlands, In damp forests, and In marshes.
It is short, growing up to 3 inches (8 cm) tall. It forms in sparse patches and they overwhelm an area rapidly, and is slightly robust.
When mature, emerald heart-shaped capsules grow at the end of long, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the mid-autumn to release millions of spores.
