Burgundy Vine
Climbing plant type: Vine (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)This short vine is a very fast growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 19 feet (5.8 meters) and growing as high as 108 feet (32.9 meters). It prefers to grow on rock formations.
It takes 5 months for the burgundy stems to mature, by which point they have often fused together into ropes with a diameter of 3 cm (1.2 inches) and are flat and wavy.
The very narrow and elongated, crispy leaves reach up to 3 inches (8 cm) in length. They are violet on the edges and cream at the center, and have toothed edges.
It can survive a long time without water.
