Twining Silverleaf

Flower type: Biennial (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)

This short flower grows up to 3 inches (8 cm) tall. Its green stem is very thin, and the huge, silver leaves are perforated with tattered edges. Many leaves grow along the entire length of the stem.

Each stem splits 5 to 8 times; a single small flower grows at the end of each split. The flowers are 3 cm (1.2 inches) wide, with petals that are caramel on the edges and beige at the center. The flower head is largely flat with several raised round-tipped petals. They fall easily.

It has a scent whose strength depends on external factors, such as soil quality and rain frequency that smells like marzipan, and it has excessive amounts of pollen. It is pollinated by insects , but only one species in particular.

It can survive a very long time without water.
