Coppergrass
Grass type: Annual (Stores water in its stem)This short, copper grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The slender, pointed stalks grow in small clumps that are strong and tough and they are slow to spread and grow.
When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a giant, orange puff.
During the late summer, it produces copious amounts of pollen, and after flowering, it is left with plenty of medium-sized grains.
It is suitable for making paper
