Carameliflower

Flower type: Perennial (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)

This small flower grows up to 4 inches (10 cm) tall. Its burgundy stem is wispy and straight, and the small, emerald leaves are dark orange on the underside and are slender, pointed with smooth edges. A pair of leaves grow at the base of the flower head.

Several giant flowers grow along the length of the stem. The flowers are 5 cm (2.0 inches) wide, with petals that are caramel on the edges and gold at the center. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of up to 40 curved petals. They are hardy.

It has a weak scent that smells like baby powder, and it has very little pollen, but can cause severe allergic reactions. It is a self-pollinator.

It can flourish even in standing water.
